Deforming Turks Heads
For producing deformed or shaped wire, a
descaler, turks head and wire drawer combination is the most cost
effective way. Our turks head is designed as a stand alone unit which
allows easy retrofit into any existing production line. The DTI turks
head is capable of handling up to 1/2" diameter rod and wire line
speeds up to 350 feet / minute. The equipment shown is producing ASTM
A496-90A spec concrete reinforcing wire at 200 fpm
